Neural Therapy
Neural therapy is a treatment that involves the superficial injection of local anesthetics into specific areas of the body to alleviate pain and dysfunction. Injections can be in areas of scar tissue or pain, peripheral nerves, trigger points, and acupuncture points.
The theory behind neural therapy is that these injections can help regulate the body's autonomic nervous system.
In simpler terms, imagine your body's nervous system as a complex network of roads and highways. Sometimes, due to injuries, infections, or other factors, there can be "traffic jams" or disruptions in this network, leading to pain or dysfunction. Neural therapy aims to "clear the traffic" by injecting anesthetic substances at specific points to reset or normalize the nervous system's function and provide relief from pain.
